I added a custom shuffle in the config.ini to play my favorite songs. Ever since then, strange things have occured. First, the custom shuffle showed up then dissapeared. So I readded it, it's remained there, but now the rest of the config.ini scripts have almost all disappeared. And my empeg is doing crazy stuff, like locking up and fast forwarding through songs. Has this happened to anyone??? and can I reset the config????

I was just asking, not trying to FAQ him. Truth be told, it doesn't sound like his problem is the same as the thing in the FAQ, it was just a stab in the dark.

Well, you know what the config.ini looks like after the beta-11 bug (the one where it doubles up your favorite visuals on every synch), so you can check that for him...

Thanx Loren, because YOU were the one that said, "throw a post out, see what people say."

Okay, then, wipe out the config.ini as described in that FAQ entry and start over.

Make sure he's running the latest software and the latest hijack, and that the shell prompt doesn't complain about needing an FSCK when you do RWM.

(If the latter thing happens, did he add any applets to the Hijack menu with Mark's new method, and did he put them on /drive0 to run in AC Mode? That could be the reason)
