Finally, thanks to Tony, I might be posting this in the right area !!

I've just upgraded to Hijack 320 (from 283) to use the boot up volume facility (which works great -thanks Mark)

Unfortunately this seems to be having some strange effects on my Sony Stalk/ ir_translate settings.

The first thing is that both KBottom and KRear appear to program the same button (the top button of the group of 3 for a left mounted stalk). i.e if the ir-translate has KRear=xxxxx followed by KBottom=yyyyy the Rear button is programmed with yyyyy not xxxxx and the Bottom button is not programmed at all. Also the Vol down button now acts as play/pause for a single press and turns the player off for a long press.
