...hm. The one quirk that is left from my problems with the corrupted partition is that I now have two "Unattached Items" folders. Can't seem to delete one through the normal methods... Anyone know how I can?

If you do have bad memory in your empeg, which is fairly likely considering your test result, you really shouldn't play around with the database until you can get it fixed! The bad memory can cause more corruption, but you should be ok as long as you don't make changes.
