Im trying to get TTSClock running again under 2.0. Does TTSClock still require preinit or has the Hijack ;ExecOnce command taken it's place or will the Execonce command not execute scripts?

I have no problem reinstalling preinit if need be, I just wanted to see if there was a work around using Hijack instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My first thought is that it's ;@EXEC_ONCE

Did you ``spell'' it right in your config.ini?

My first thought is that anything on /programs0 or /programs1 won't work immediately after an upgrade - the mountpoints will no longer exist, nor the entries in /etc/fstab that get them mounted.

When I work out how to get the 2.0 software on my player I'll look into a simple restore script. (No linux upgrade software, and the new installshield wont install Emplode on my old Win95 laptop.)

The only thing deleted by the upgrade for TTSClock was the script itself and I reuploaded that and chmod'ed it. Ive tried calling it from Hijack using ;@Execonce and it doesn't find it. Even logged in with a terminal and watching bootup, I dont see where it's even going looking for it.

Oh yea, preinit was also deleted but Im trying not to use that.

TTSClock gets uploaded to /drive0/var, BTW.

I'll try to make an updated version of the TTSClock script over the weekend to make it more Hijack friendly. I'll also add a command line option to specify different timezones so you're not forced to use Universal time if you don't want to.
