I get the following error when I try to install Emplode V2.00 to Windows 98.

1155 File C:\My Documents\Empeg Stuff\car-emplode-v2.00\INSTMSIA.EXE not found

The contents of the above downloaded directory are
RIOHD.inf
RIOHD.sys
rioxdrv.inf
RIOXDRV.sys
setup.exe

There is no file named INSTMSIA.EXE

I notice that in the downloaded directory for the previous versions the files
instmsiA.exe
instmsiW.exe
do exist


Am I doing something wrong (again!) or are these files missing? I have ininstalled the previous version of emplode (beta 13)

Yeah, look in Bug Reports. There's a thread on installs there.

I've had the same issue with Win95 and Win2k.

I get exactly the same - I upgraded the driver, un-installed the old version, rebooted, tried to install the new software and get the same message - I guess either it is a bug or we are both doing something wrong, didn't want to try mixing the files from the old version, spent too much time supporting MicroSnot stuff to risk that

There is a link in the Bug thread with the file you need, works fine since I installed the Microsoft Installer software

Go here and intall the installer and all should be well.

Ah! Excellent!!! I was able to get emplode 2.0 installed on my XP desktop, but my laptop running Me go the error message and all the Windows Updates were up to date but no Installer 2.0 would come up on Updates.... This should fix it! Thanks!
