if i load up few albums to play on my empeg is it possible to do a search through those songs to find a specific song?

i believe i got a menu to pop up once so i could do this but i hit the wrong button and it went away. i've never been able to find that menu again.

Alphanumeric searches are described in the manual. There is more detail about it here.

Also, there is the tweak order feature here which might be similar to what you're after.

thanks for the tips, but those didn't help. i'm already familiar with those features, but i looked just incase. i read through the manual again and still didn't see anything. perhaps, i'm just going crazy or something.

I assume you're talking about a feature similar to the Jump command in Winamp? Where you can load songs into a playlist and then jump (by typing "j" then an alpha search) to a specific song in that playlist, thus playing them in any order that you want?

No, I don't have an answer, but that was one of my favorite features in Winamp, I think they lost it in 3.0.

If anyone knows a solution to this, I'd be interested also.
