I used a free NTFS resizer that reminded me a lot of FIPS. It worked great and I had no problems at all.

Well, no problems until now. I used it at home and I need to use it here at work, but I don't remember the name of it. I tried google with various terms, but the only thing that looked familiar was "BootIt", and I'm pretty sure that wasn't it.

Does anybody have any suggestions? If it matters, this is for the removeable HDD on a Dell Inspiron.

Thanks,
Tim

If you accept alternatives, try PowerQuest Partition Magic 8.0 . Not free unfortunately.

The latest Knoppix LiveCD has ntfsresize on it (you can even use it with QTParted, which is also on the Knoppix CD, I believe).
