42.01183% - Major Geek
I am in good company then!
My biggest problem is that I don't think I am a geek, is that anything like an alcoholic??
I do like some of the questions though, I always knew the answer was 42, I mean, come on.......

45.75937% - Super Geek
Gamer, programmer, ex-SCA member, and sci-fi nut. My geek fate was pretty much sealed. I checked pretty solidly throughout, but I cleaned out the "I Have Read" section, everything except Lovecraft and Russian Lit.
And how many answered yes to " I want to score well on this test"? :-)

Well, I am deeply upset - only 52.46548% - Super Geek
It was all the D&D type stuff that failed me - I'm an outdoors kind of geek.
I did like the 'suspenders' question - it does mean something different in the US, right?

Suspenders? I don't know what that means across the pond... here it's those strap things you wear to hold your pants up instead of a belt. I believe the term over yonder is "braces".

I'm afraid you're right... I may decide to retake the test and adjust the average accordingly, which will probably increase my geek points even more, so I'll have to recalculate and... Oh well...

This is just a personal distinction, however it would seem to catch the feelings of the quiz. Braces are dapper pieces of men's fashion that button inside of a man's pants therefore allowing the pants to hang correctly as opposed to being cinched into place. Suspenders have big alligator clips that destroy you pants. Suspenders are geeky... braces are not.

of course if you were wearing suspenders in England, you wouldn't be a geek, only a cross dresser
