The time has come to replace my last remaining original 30GB drive for an 80GB version, leaving me with a spare 30GB drive on my hands.
Any takers ? UK only please.

Quick unrelated question if you don't mind me asking, where did you get & how much are you paying for your 80GB drives?
Cheers, Sim

I snagged my Hitachi/IBM Travelstar 80 gig from my favorite online retailer Multiwave Direct in California USA for $300 (total with shipping). I could have paid less at newegg or something, but I know and trust Multiwave and have a user account there and everything. The drive came quick and works great along side my 30gig. I haven't tested it in car yet, but songs uploaded just fine. Good luck.

I can only find one online reseller for the 80GB drives in the UK, they're listing @ £240 ( ~ $400 ) - still a bit too rich for me.
Still prices can only come down

That's what you get for being on the "bleeding edge" of technology

At this point, I do not really consider an 80GB "bleeding edge". It certainly has its interesting points, and we are starting to really push the hardware a bit (memory involved with fsck), but it is still fairly stable.
Now, alpha3.0 would be another matter... (No, I don't have it.)
