I recently upgraded my empeg to 120GB using two of pgrezlak's old disks. It's working perfectly and I'm selling my two old drives. The drives worked perfectly when they were removed. They are:

IBM Travelstar DJSA-230 (30GB)
Fujitsu MHM2200AT (20GB)

PM with reasonable offers. According to ebay, the 20's go for around $60 and the 30's go for around $80, plus shipping, of course. I'll make a good deal to any fellow empeg owner who wants them. I don't have spare notebook drive jumpers, so you'll want to get one while you wait for it unless you already have a two disk empeg. Most computer repair places will give one to you for nothing. For the uninitiated, it is a different jumper (smaller) than standard PC jumpers.

I'm in the Midwest US and shipping should be relatively inexpensive within the US. I guarantee against DOA, but you still pay shipping.
