I am beginning to appreciate the power of the equaliser, and I have started looking at how it can improve the quality of reproduction in my car (no, audio reproduction, silly!

Looking at the default settings of the equaliser, the centre frequencies of each band appear to be rather oddly spaced. Has anyone got a list of centre frequencies (and maybe their associated Q values) that they are using? I have been using 63Hz, 160, 400, 1k, 2.5k, 6.3k, 12.5k, 16k, and 18k (there's one missing there somewhere).

I know these choices are pretty subjective, but it would be nice to see what other people are using for comparison.
