After rebuilding my PC, I seem to have lost all the codecs I'd gathered over the months. Is there a codec package O can get from somewhere to save me going to umpteen sites?

I don't know about any codec packages, but this helped me a lot when I needed some codecs a few days ago...

In the past, I've found that all I need for codecs are:

-codecs downloadable by WMP6: don't need to do anything
-DivX: available at www.divx.com for free (below the three levels of software is a link)
-Nimo codec pack: hard to find on the net now for some reason. I have an earlier version if you like. This also has DivX in it, so try it first.

I use the nimo codec pack, and never have any problems finding it or using it. After installing it, windows media player plays just about everything I throw at it.
