Hey all...

I'm kind of in a bind and was wondering what ideas you people have for making money that could be shared with our community. I know some ideas that could work but I don't think anyone would be willing to buy me a set of breasts (I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate that much either! ).

I have been running numerous things through my head but can't find that certain something that would help me out here now. In the past I have have some luck with business ventures and made decent money on the side. However, living in a town of 800 people with a population of less then 10000 within a 100 kilometer radius from me is a pretty big downfall.

My current situation is this: working full time and year round with a decent paying job, girlfriend works seasonal making somewhat less then me. Just moved into a new house 6 months ago and have racked up my credit line getting settled into it, buying furniture and all that fun stuff. Credit card is way up there! Only 2 more years left on the Vehicle payments and that'll be gone for a while. I have considered selling a toy or 2 but it really wouldn't be worth it as I wouldn't get anywhere near what they are valued at to me and I still wouldn't be much further ahead then I am now. No doubt some of you people have worse troubles and debts then this but I just wanna break free and actually see a paycheck or two once in a while. I am currently doing satellite installations but that can only go so far with the limited population. I sold cell phones a couple years back when the service was first introduced here and did excellent with it until everyone had a phone. I occasionally find something to sell on eBay but again it's hard to come by the big sellers.

So basically... anyone got any get rich quick (or at least get out of the hole) schemes or ideas?

I also have this invention/idea that would likely go somewhere... very small but I think it would end up everywhere... however I can't even bring myself to fork out the dough to patent it.

Sure, because we all know the TV and movies never lie.

Anyway, the problem with that is you'd have to do something with the gold in order to sell it for money (melt it down and make different ingots, at least), assuming you got it in the first place, or it's worthless.

And something tells me talking about it on the internet probably isn't all that intelligent.

I am sort of in the same boat...only I don’t need money...i need ideas. I have a major project due in my marketing class in 30 days. I have to create a product (or service), have a working model, and have the marketing research completed, as well as the actual presentation.
I have had a couple of ideas, but nothing that I really love. For a day or two i was trying to develop voltage reactant paint (that's a freebie for anyone wanting to invest in it, I just want a very small royalty.) I had an idea for a pre-paid jet service. Something along the lines of a time-share but in flight. In short, no real viable options given my time frame.
I am looking for something I can make really slick. Something i can believe in and that would benefit all of society. I would be willing to split the grade with any takers.

Regarding your time share flight, it's called executive jet service. Thre's a good article in today's Wall Street Journal (Oct. 23, 2003) reagarding that type of service. It's called fractional ownership and there are any number of companies that offer it, FWIW.

I see a large number of them as my view overlooks the aproach path. The best one so far was when the Crown Prince of Jordan flew in for a wedding in Quechee VT. Imagine a private 747. A lot of the smaller ones land here for storage between assignments as it's only 20 flight minutes to Boston and 45 to NYC.
