Does anyone have any comments about music now ?

Here are mine so far.

I signed up for the free trail. The concept sounds like you can listen to their tracks either by streaming of downloading a wma file. You have to pay 99 cents a song or 10.00 an album to copy to a cd or portable. I am assuming the license for downloaded tracks is good until you stop the service.

I would be happy if I could download to a portable included in the monthy fee and if I cancel the service the license for the tracks would expire. Then I could check out music and if I like it go buy the cd. The way it is now I have to play everything on my computer and I mostly listen to music in the car or walking around.

They have alot of stuff from major labels but nothing from smaller ones (like epitaph).

You have to use media player 9 to buy, download, and stream tracks and it's really, really slow to navigate.

They don't have search by genre.

I'll probably try it for a couple of days but I can't see paying 10 dollars a month just to play music on my PC.
