I've just got a Sony Ericsson P900 to replace my aging Nokia 7650. It's actually a really nice phone. Does take a while to get used to using a stylus though as I've taken off the flip on mine.

There are advantages and disadvantages to having a touchscreen on the front. It's great for using it and is much more flexible but it's a dirt magnet. You've got to be much more careful about how you treat it unlike a normal phone. Scratch the front of a normal one and it's just annoying, scratch this one and you're screwed.

The phone has about 8MB of free internal memory but comes with a 32MB MemoryStick Duo (Trust Sony to come up with something that looks nearly identical to a MMC/SD card!) but it can take up to 128MB. I've installed Opera on it and it works pretty well.

I only got it yesterday so I can't really comment on how good the battery life is.

In short, it's cool. Get one

Damn. I knew they were coming out with a new one, but I didn't know it was going to be this soon. I bought a P800 over the summer, and I like it a lot, but it could be better. It looks like the P900 is better

Yeah, the screen is really annoying in terms of dust. But the good thing in regards to your screen is that on the P800, the buttons are used to press the "virtual" keypad underneath it. Your buttons, however, are they way they should be (actual buttons instead of several mini-styli).

Oh well. I suppose I'll keep my phone until even more advances come along. I'm still waiting for the day I can play Mario Kart and Link to the Past on my phone

Does this one support T9 ? I believe that the P800 didn't.

Yeah, it does support T9 on the keypad. The main input method using the stylus still though.
