I have a colleague in London (Wimbledon) who spends a lot of time travelling throughout western Europe, with lots of trips to Athens.

She's interested in getting a wireless PDA of some sort that can retrieve email via IMAP (and provides a send service with her corporate address) and views basic attachments (word, excel, etc.). Her mobile service is with Orange, but she's not insistent on staying with them.

She'd like it to be a bit cheaper than her current Orange voice service, but pan-European coverage is more important. She doesn't think they have unlimited monthly service anywhere over there, yet, but she'd love to be proven wrong.

Anyone on that side have any experiences they'd like to share or recommendations I can pass along?

many thanks,

Get a Treo 600 from Orange, and pick a PalmOS IMAP client.

I second the Treo 600. It's a lot cheaper than the P900 and if you want to write a lot of stuff then the keyboard is good.

The P900 does come with a built in IMAP/POP3 client. Opera is on the CD as well.

However, if she wants something flashy then get the P900
