I am having problems using zmodem to transfer stuff from my PC to the empeg unit. I type "rz -b" in a shell prompt and then send the data from my PC. As soon as I begin sending data, the rz terminates without error without receiving any of the file. I've also tried using the tcp-server mode of rz to transfer over the ethernet but that also seems to be failing. Any suggestions?

Is the partition mounted read/write? "rw" will remount the root partition rw, "rwm" will do /dev/hda4 (ie, the main music partition). "ro" remounts read only.

Henno and I had this on data transfers above (roughly) 4M to a Mk2. We were mounted rw, and we could manipulate data on disk, so there was no issue there. It seemed to be a memory issue, but we did not investigate the source any further.
