I have ran many clubs in the past 10 years on the Net. Mainly car clubs. Posting like I did is not a cross post. And so far my experience with this site has not been good. Alot of people on here complain more than help.

it doesnt matter how 'the cool people do it', its not how we do it. accept it, and move on. were a really cool community, you just got off on a bad foot. stick out your other one and lets move on.

The other thing of note here is that the thread that was crossposted seems to have copious answers in it. Russ, that does argue against your need to crosspost to make sure you got heard. In fact, you crossposted immediately after you posted, so you didn't even give anyone the chance to reply before you decided, ad hoc, that no-one was going to read your post in technical. That's not really very polite.

You've been around on this board for a little more than a week now, so I can understand you might not be used to the way things work around here. But in that time, and given your other experiences posting on other BBSes, you should have worked out that it's better to give people a chance to reply before you cry out about being ignored...

Don't think that people don't pay attention to these things. If you don't like the civility with which we treat our fellow posters here, then feel free to go elsewhere for help.
