No idea, there's no thermometer in here. My hands are getting a little cold, but that could be RSI. Time to make a cup of tea, methinks.

Nothing near that cold, but this is the first time I've ever seen people drive carefully en mass. We got on the parkway this morning, and where people usually go 60 if they can, they were going 30.
All this over less than an inch of snow. It's really caused havoc, because people don't expect it to be slippery. Half the people in my office didn't come in this morning because they decided, after 2 hours in traffic, to turn around and go home because they were less than half way there. It's crazy out there.

It was 47º this morning. And I was COLD. I guess I shouldn't make fun of those people that died in Paris when the temp hit 100 for a few secs.

Yesterday, high of 50°F and a low of 28°. Looks like it is warming up today to be even higher, since it's already 48°F at noon.

No clue what the actual temp was, or when this happened (been inside looking at the computer all day), but we have gotten like ~2-3cm of snow here (still snowing), and it's nearly impossible to drive, even with the road crews salting like mad.
Some of my difficulty can probably be attributed to my summer tires, but since they only have a few thousand miles on them, the difference can't be that large.

I was working from home today so I couldn't tell you how hot it was there. But I can tell you the temperature of the video drive in my myth box is a balmy 31.3 degrees C.....
EDIT: ...and it's been spinning for 47 days

It was a bit chilly here too today, so much so that I had to wear long sleeves instead of my usual polo shirt. Think it dropped to as low as 18 C.
Regards
Mark
(In Saigon, and anticipating someone from Australia posting to complain about the 30+ C temperatures there at the moment).

Hey Thomas, my friend!
Happy New Year (again) and all!
I wonder if you could do me a small favour. You see, there's this geocache...
But seriously: I'm trying to decipher the German description and not having much luck with Babelfish on this one:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCAE38
Thanks!

This morning here in sunny Portland, Maine its a brisk -8 degrees.
And the forecast calls for "dangerous" wind chills in the -30's.
oh joy...

Hi Mark,
as i looked at the cache-description, i saw an english translation. Check up this again.
The description says, you can log this cache, when you have a garmin-device, which can use the EGNOS data from the european satellites. You only have to log with a pic, which will show your garmin using EGNOS (the D's in the strength-bars).
Hope, i've helped you out.
cheers, Thomas
