I have had mine for a week, and I here present my own wishlist (I have seen some of there here already, but...)
- IrDA synchronising with emplode/emptool (or even Bluetooth for next version)
- Docking Ethernet
- Onscreen clock (for instance as a visual)
- Third-party plugins/programs support
- "friendly" delayed power-off
- length/size of tracks in emplode
- http server or "party-client" so that people at my party can request an have songs played without being able to do all that emplode can do.
- search function in emplode ("give me a window with all *spice* songs")
- case insensitivity in the artist/track search on the unit (and skipping trailing spaces)
- (maybe this can already be done?) A quick way of changing the presets when my cab is down, this changes the sound a lot in the car. I don't use the telephone-mute or headlights-on inputs, maybe these could be used for this or other things? (plugins?) Or even the noise level measured by a microphone
- Mic-in auto-equalize
- Stereo-rack cover/box to make it look nicer at home
- CD-changer-emulator (Make the head-unit believe the empeg is a CD-changer)
