Hmm. I've wanted one for my Honda Element (you there in back, yes you, stop laughing), but since I'm probably just the only one, I've been hesitant to ask. How much time do these usually take you?

Now, if you were really cool, you'd have a car like mine: I have a Ford Taurus Station Wagon.
I don't want a custom bootup logo, though, because then people would see my logo, realize what a truly cool car I was driving, and first thing you know everywhere you looked there'd be Ford Taurus Station wagons.
Oh, wait...

It all depends.
The ones with actual video clips take a lot longer. Not only do I have to decide which frames from the clip to use, but depending on the camera man, stabalizing the clip to stay within the display is very time consuming.
Now if i have to find the logos and media to use, there is more time spent there.
It really does depends on the type of boot logo you want but on the average, I would say..........humm......close to three hours.
Of course that is not 3 hours straight mind you. i'll work on it for about an 1/2 to an hour, go do something else, come back and work on it some more, visit it again the next day, finish it, tweak it, tweak it some more...........you get the picture.

Ok. I used to be *almost* as cool as you with my last car, a standard Ford Taurus.

1994 Ford Escort Station Wagon (manual transmission) representing! Well, except that I sold it a few months ago with like 160k miles for $900.

Well... actually... there is a little bit of coolness about my car.
It is one of perhaps 10 Taurus Wagons in the world that have been converted to SHO specifications (engine, transmission, interior, brakes, and suspension) and it is one kick-ass grocery getter!
With the award-winning competition quality stereo system (five class-T amplifiers feeding a full complement of 12 Diamond Audio Hex series speakers (strictly sound quality not SPL) in a total stealth install) and the fact that other than the dual exhausts and the fancy wheels (OK, and the Yamaha emblem replacing the Ford emblem on the grille) it looks like an ordinary plain-jane station wagon, I have a real sleeper.

Here's a weird request: I'd love a custom boot logo for a motorcycle. A BMW R1150GS, in fact. There was an advertisment for it splashing through a puddle coming toward the camera. Pretty cool. I have no idea about these things, but it'd be worth a contribution, to be sure.

Ah yes! I remember the SHO wagon! I think I made a static boot logo foryou once! I'm from Dearborn, home of Ford prototype land (AZ get a lot too). I've seen "spy" pics of some SHO wagons they were testing (and can dig them up) but I didn't know any had hit the road... I remember a concept at an auto show way back that was either a Ford Aerostar or a Ford Freestar that had the SHO drivetrain in it... was called the "SHOstar" lol. They couldn't get it to stop tipping over though. ;P
