Not quite....

I found this while looking for DVD printing on the internet...I tried to download the platiinum copy, but it needs the license....I thought it looked like a too good to be true kind of thing...

I use DVD Shrink, which is free and works well enough for my needs.

I prefer DVD shrink actually, I tried a friends copy of DVDxcopy (thought about buying it) but it wouldn't copy the Sopranos box set, just kept getting the first episode and thats it. Apparently HBO does something funky to their disks. I also couldn't get the "archival backup copy" thing to go away...

Nothing funky, DVDXCopy fails on any episodic DVD. It is so unflexable that if you have anything other than one large movie it will fail to copy it correctly. Basically it is a piece of junk. DVD Shrink is a much superior program, and it is free to boot.

The newest version of DVDXCopy, Platinum Edition, claims to be able to copy episodic discs. I can't verify that, however.
