69%, although, looking at the answers, apparently I am a good guesser.
However:
22. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more than your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary abstracts of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself; although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?
Because I can.
Because I have to.
Because I choose to.
Because it is inevitable.
Because we must have the prreciouss.

No wait. Here's what's more scary. I actually said to myself, after taking the test... "If I ever start my own software company, this will be my employment application..."

I have to say that anyone taking the test from the UK (or any country other than the USA) is probably at a disadvantage. There were a few references in there to TV shows that I'm pretty sure are only popular in the US. And the Python/Adams references don't offset it because those are equally as popular in the US among geeks.

You must have been trying to get it wrong, because even random guessing should give you 20% or so.

Well if I didn't know the answer I selected the last option so as not to cheat. 2% is very achievable if you don't randomly guess.

Well, to prove the strength of guessing, I managed 40.476190476190474% and I didn't actually know more than a handful!! Or to be more acurate - I not only didn't know most of the answers - I didn't really understand most of the questions!

I forwarded this link to a friend of mine. His response was:
"I scored just over 19%, but in the process, I found a crucial error in thier code. I wonder how much that counts for?"

I managed 40.something with my UK handicap. There were definitely a bunch of people in there I hadn't heard of, but mainly I think because I stopped gaming and D&D many years ago...

I seem to remember getting about 30% on the geek test, so perhaps a name change to either Third_Geek or Two_Fifths_Nerd is called for!!
Damn, now I need to work out if I want to be part-Geek or part-Nerd! Decisions, decisions......
Although if I am a 33% Geek and 40% Nerd, what is the last 27% made up of..... Or has wondering that just boosted the 40%?!?

26.19047619047619% Ok, I have to admit I didn't know there was a 0th law of robotics and I've read a LOT of Asimov (but it's been a while). I just figured they were counting like geeks do (always start with 0! )

Ok, I have to admit I didn't know there was a 0th law of robotics and I've read a LOT of Asimov (but it's been a while). I just figured they were counting like geeks do (always start with 0! ) I didn't know there was, either. I'm guessing it came from either a later Asimov work, or from someone other than Asimov. I don't know if I got the answer right, but my guess was based on the fact that the other questions contained 1, 2, and 3, so therefore it couldn't be one of those.
