Has anyone taken the GMAT recently... My company is looking at paying for me to get my MBA. I need to take the GMAT soon... I'm open to testing advice, but a good prep book is what I really need.

oh Sweet Jeebus I hated that test.

You REALLY need more than a good prep book. TAKE A CLASS!

Seriously. I know that the material on the test is stupid math and english, but they trick the hell out of you. Taking a class is not about learning the material so much as it is learning HOW to take the test.

Classes are usually about $1200 or so, but worth every penny

Did I mention that I hated that test?

Congrats dude! When your employer is willing to invest that much in you, they're definitely planning on keeping you around for a while. Good luck on the GMAT.

Kaplan test courses in your area

Steep price. $1249 ouch. But I think that they were pretty darn good.
