This June/July, SWMBO and I will be in London for a week before I head over to Amsterdam and then Amersfoort. I hope to visit a lot of geocaches around London (see cache map), and it would be useful if there were some way to get cheap/free WiFi access in the vicinity of Trafalgar Square.

Does this sound likely? Where?

Cheers

Mmm not likely to be cheap. Check out BT OpenZone to get an idea of the current market for WiFi in the UK, I think it clocks in at about 23.5p per minute!!!

Although I'm sure there will be cheaper options if you look around, most are tied into this scheme in one way or another. I always use the easyInternet cafe when I'm in London, it's cheap and easy. I don't think they do WiFi access

Cheers

Cris.

For paid access, T-Mobile have hotspots in most Starbucks. BT openzone is more prevalent in the UK though and has recently appeared in many McDonalds.

For free hotspots, have a look around consume.net
