I realize the technology is completely different, but any way to get the new ReplayTV's to play all those files from my server? Right now I have an older ReplayTV and a Dell connected to the amplifier in my A/V/Hobby room, and it seems really redundant to have 2 boxes there when I probably only need one.

Since the new ReplayTV will have a network connection, it seems like it could be Receiver-like as well. If it could play music too, my ReplayTV upgrade decision would be easier!

I could have sworn that the Empeg guys dropped a hint over on the Empeg BBS that something along these lines was brewing. I don't remember the details of it, though. Do a search over there and see what you can come up with.

Hmm, I don't remember dropping that particular hint. Maybe you just put 2 and 2 together by yourself and successfully came up with 4.
