My attempts to use JReceiver have stumbled onto two bugs, both filename related.

One is that the scanner chokes when a file has a percent sign in its name. This is listed as a bug in JReceiver's SF.net bug list, but it isn't fixed yet. Does anyone know a way to work around this? I don't really feel like renaming files.

The second is filenames that contain 8-bit characters. It just ignores them. Does anyone have any filenames with 8-bit characters that are working properly? Again, I don't really want to rename the files.

This is all under Solaris.
