Folks,

I've just tracked down why tRio isn't working too well if you have more than one network card in your Host PC. This is often the case if you're using hpna (you'll probably have 1 ethernet card and 1 hpna card). Please see my seperate post to do with HPNA if you are wanting to use it.

This solves the problem when nothing at all happens when you press the Play button (not when you get "buffering", but no music).

There are 2 solutions. The 1st is to change the "send-method" in trio.xml from "multicast" to "broadcast". This is the preferred solution for the time being.

The 2nd will only become available with tRio 0.1.2 and will involve setting up a "multicast-interface" value in your tRio.xml and adding a special start up parameter if you're running Linux. If any of you REALLY want to use the multicast option, then PM me and I'll send you a pre-release.
