Has anyone else had this problem?

I just received my Rio, and have it plugged into my NetGear wireless router. The problem is that most of the time, the Link LED does not light up, and the Rio can not find the music server. There have been a few times that it did establish Link and everything worked.

I don't know if this is a problem with the NetGear or with the Rio. If it is with the NetGear, I will return it to the store. If it is with the Rio, then it must be with the kernel image stored in FLASH. Has anyone been able to update the image in FLASH?

Any sugestions?

Do you have a crossover cable to plug in from the Rio to the ethernet card in your computer (I'm obviously assuming you have a ethernet card in your computer and not a wireless one)? That would be the quickest way to narrow the problem.

mine does this occasionally when I'm tropubleshooting. A reboot of my router fixes it.
