I posted about display problem a while back apparently caused by my local installer getting some wires confused. Sent the unit back to empeg, received it and it worked fine again!

Got it back from my installer today, same problem--blown display. Needless to say, I'm not going back to this installer.

I'd rather not go through all the trouble of sending the unit back if it's just a fuse that needs to be replaced. Has anyone fixed this problem themselves, or am I better off just sending it back AGAIN?

Blake,

I don't think the problems with your player are related to this - you have a Mk.1, right? There's a design problem there (although the transient supressor mod fixes it).

I assume this owner has a Mk.2, and appears to be having a problem with mis-wiring.

Rob
