The geek site has been updated. Areas of change include the album, player history, staff details, projects, links and some stuff about the acquisition.

The URL is http://geek.empeg.com.

I don't believe it - more than 10 hours since Rob announced the geek site update, and nobody has asked this yet: what is the difference between a standard mk2 and Seven? (Look at the very bottom of that page.)

BTW, the IASCA pictures look like out of this world...

Part-time and temporary staff aren't on the site.

Also, rather than just Oct00, is there a serial number that marks the change to the 2a ?

The 2a isn't in production yet, the next batch will be 2a's. Changes are mainly just production tweaks such as being able to fit alternative capacitor types (sanyo OS-CON, etc) where we have problems sourcing the original ones. There are a couple of other tweaks, but no major changes because it has to fit on the existing test rig.

The only update to staff is the addition of Andrew, and Toby's photo. Wording has been changed slightly for a few others as well.

Not mentioned on the site are Andrew (sales support), Abhi (customer services), and Alex (dispatch).

We'll add new permanant staff as they join us, starting with our latest programmer Richard Nixon (I know our US clients will love that!) after Christmas.

As long as he's not a crook.
