I've got a 40+10 gig MKIIA/Rio. Original tuner, remote control, USB, serial and power cable and sled (cables and power not in picture, but all original). I might be able to track down the original CD if someone really wants it, but the software is updated to version 2 w/ the most recent hijack.

It's got a small fan installed for cooling (it got hot in my wrangler), 2 hard drives and the button kit. The only real problem, save some wear and tear bumps, is one of the 4 LEDs on the knob is a little dimmer than the other 3. It could be fixed w/ replacing either the LED or the resistor (not sure which is goofed).

$100 for a 50 gig empeg, anyone? (well, $200 complete with sled)

So tempted to buy that, yet soon to be SO broke from funding the translucent button project. ::sigh:: Have to pass on this one.

I'm talking to Chris (cjf) about this. Turns out that someone is offering him so much for just the tuner he's going to break up the package. I'm happy with the price I'm getting for the player and everything else, but it's not the same fantastic deal offered above.

Anyone else looking for a player, keep an eye on ebay. In the last few weeks three 20GB new-in-the-box players have sold on ebay for between $300 and $400.

Jay, you're right, my mistake. So $450 for a new-in-box 20GB, and $330 for a suspicious looking unit with black empeg bag and AC power supply but nothing else. That's still two units for < $500 in the last month.
