What version of jEmplode is stable. I am finding that jEmplode 69 just won't hold up over time. I've had troubles with as little as 1500 songs by uploading the "correct" +/- 1 gig and as much as 16000 by uploading a small number of just huge chunks. It almost always starts with a timeout and cascades into tediousness and frustration from there. Has anyone else recently rebuilt their drives and started anew? how have you fared? I'm not getting any signs of hardware problems via hyperterminal, but maybe it is my hardware. any clues, ideas, feedback?

If you find that out, let me know

The easy way to determine if it's hardware or not is to use Emplode w/ Ethernet for a while and see if you get any of the same problems. If you do, then it's most likely hardware. If not, then there's something wacky with jEmplode that I need to look into further.

Do you still end up w/ two rebuidls after every sync after fixing up your player w/ Emplode? Can you describe all the frustrations you're having if they aren't covered in other threads already?

Does it have a public IP address assigned to it, or can you modify your router/firewall so it passes through some ports to it?

There is an empeg-specific chat channel, irc.phoobot.com, port 6667, then /join #empeg

Yeah, but Mike's not. I can't help you with Jemplode programming.

To tie a bow around this thread, ZoneAlarm was denying active FTP connections from Hijack.

Big Thanks to TONYF for setting up mirc meeting and to MSCHRAG for his personal real-time help. Very Nice indeed!

As a follow up, i've uploaded 23gigs (at one time!) without a hitch on windows. great.

I would like the world to know:

The wonderful picture at the startup of jEmplode is MSCHRAG's dog "DERBY"
