Yellow journalism.

Nobody's being denied their right to vote, it's just a computer glitch in the database of registered voters. I'm sure this could happen in any electon, and probably happened in 2000 way before the "real" irregularities popped up.

I'm sure there will be real, honest-to-goodness fsckups in this election, but let's wait until they happen.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it yellow journalism. The AP is reporting that there have been numerous malfunctions, and that voters who showed up to vote ended up leaving without voting. Luckily, we're just at the beginning of the early voting period, so they can come back tomorrow.

I see this story as evidence of incompetence on the part of the elections officials. We're seeing evidence that they didn't test things out, that they didn't have adequate fallback procedures, and the results are pissed off voters. Generally speaking, what you can see from the outside is only the tip of the iceberg of what's happening on the inside. The situation could well be worse than we know so far.
