My alternator died in my bug the other day so I have been driving a rental and as a result long trips to work and home with no empeg. I never realized how long of a drive it is with out music. the rental doesnt have a tape or cd player just am/fm and reception is horrible. not worth trying. Gawd the alternator needs to hurry up and get here from CA so I can get my bug/empeg back on the road with me. Just have to wait til Thursday/Friday thats it.. I can make it..

Well, worst case, get one of those stupid fm modulators. They suck, but it would get you music back (assuming you will leave the mpeg on the seat )
