Well, I'm now the proud owner of
3 Empegs - two MkII's and a MkI

Now, some might say that was greedy (and I'd be one of them) but I do have two cars and that's the only excuse I can think of

Anyway, on to the query. I now need to load my 56GB of music onto the MkI. Even with USB, this is going to take a few days and be very VERY boring! So, I was thinking - if I put the disk into the MkII and blew a MkI image onto it, could I then transfer the data over the Ethernet connection? I'm guessing that the MkI image doesn't have drivers for the Ethernet, so I expect the answer is "no", but if you don't ask.....
