It's cool, but you're still talking into a PDA. I think we're still stuck with the limitation of size v function when it comes to these convergence devices.
But, if you're not looking for the middle, that's fine. If you want a PDA that's a phone or a phone that's a PDA, there's lots of options available. I still think there are no true convergence products. The P800/900 come closest, IMO, but it's too bad that they suck so much.

wish it had a CF slot or GPS.
the battery life of my 2215 is rather poor, to say the least. left unattended with a full charge, after two days is deader than a door nail.

I would assume POTD means photo of the day, not product. Look closer.

Why would Peter, from SoCal, have a phone number from Colorado? Maybe he got a construction job there.

I'd more want one of these. Another shot. Same speed as the iPaq (Why are the phone PDAs limited to slow speeds compared to the high end PDAs?) Specs are here.

Phillos had one of those at the Amersfoort 2004 meet, I think he was doing QA on it.

I'm pretty sure they were in Texas. Of course, that doesn't really change the question.

The license plates in the movie are fictional, but I think the film took place in Texas too. I'm not sure why. Did anyone say that in the movie at some point? Maybe it's just that I associate Mike Judge with Hank Hill too much.

It was filmed in Texas, and Judge is from Texas. Plus, Lawrence seems more like a Texas redneck to me than a SoCal redneck.

The box photo and the product photos contain a sample screen which is derived from the characters and events in the movie "Office Space", the cubicle dweller's "Passion of the Christ".

TPS is short for Toilet Paper Supply. You really should watch the movie, it's on my list of top 20 films of all time.

Tony, You know, I don't know for certain. I've just had enough people tell me that that I believe it. It sure is funny. Can anyone find the scene? Urban Dictionary has this to say about it. -Zeke

I watched it last night -- partly inspired by this thread -- and there's nothing obvious in there that would lead to this conclusion.

Don't feel too bad, I didn't catch it either and I have seen the film. Guess it is time to watch it again, though it may make me more bitter with my current job then I already am.

Good to know. I think I'll need to watch it again, just to be sure (actully any excuse to watch would work for me). It has been too long. I might need to do a back to back with Anger Management.

I wouldn't doubt that it IS Toilet Paper Supply.. considering Beavis used to go "TP! TP! TP for my BUNGHOLE!" as Cornholio so, we have established there that Judge will use TP for toilet paper. i think the rest isn't a stretch

Watch the movie "Office Space" and then look closer at the picture linked to first.
