I kept quiet during recent discussions on this BBS about water cooling and shuttle cases since I was working on my own thing. I know it's not the super-fancy-cool case mod like a bunch of amazing things I've seen on other web sites, but it's mine and I enjoyed making it.

Yeah, I thought about that. But the cheap taiwanese cases I've owned before aren't much better...

Well, they're made of metal. Almost anything would create a sufficient Faraday cage, I'd think.
Ooh. That's actually a cool idea. Clear walls made from two sheets of plexi with copper mesh inbetween. I wonder if there's an optically clear resin you could use to embed the mesh and adhere the plexi with.

Wow. Just wow. I gotta wonder why they took their inspiration from the sequel, but that is still the coolest case I've seen.

I've always found this case to be pretty spiffy: Orac3
Nice work btw, Tony. The only thing I could think of doing different is painting the housing of the drive and PSU black or such. Course you could kiss you warranty goodbye on those items if you did that.

MMmm.. thus far, our Empeg mods have been somewhat lower key, for the most part. Mind you.. scribed neon lenses, chromed NewFace facias, illuminated buttons & knob, cherry panel docks, ..
Still.. when's someone gonna do something really radical?
Cheers

Nice work. Impressive plexi job. Both the Orac and Hypercube cases were also brilliant.

Very nice Tony. I've always wanted to do some crazy custom case, I'm just too lazy. I still think the HL2 cases are some of the best I've ever seen. These: BlackmesaBlackmesa II
