I have had my Karma for a while now but recently it has started to develop the following fault.
The battery power gauge always shows as empty, if you charge it it will charge for about 30 minutes or less then stop charging. But the gauge still shows as empty and if you try to access a menu item or play a track it will shut down and usually display a low battery warning. Even if you leave it to charge overnight it will display the same symptoms.
But it does work perfectly when powered from the charger.

Does anybody have any idea whether this can be fixed and if so how or is it now just junk?
If it is junk do I go with another Karma which I was perfectly happy with or do I move with the herd and go for an Ipod or has anybody else an MP3 (20Gb or above) player recommendation?

Are you charging it in the dock or directly connected to the AC adapter? Not that it should matter, but...

I remember having similar behaviors from one of my beta Karmas when the temperature sensor came disconnected from the mainboard. Not sure if yours is the same problem though.

I've tried both and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
