What is an unopened RioCar RD100-20 (as in 20 gig) worth? This my back-up unit but I'm not sure my main unit will ever die. I'll throw in a non-functioning tuner kit from pca. Or is that worth more than the player ?

(Not really that interested in the tuner module though, however, I am sure that you would be able to easily find buyers for that on it's own as I have seen Tuners selling through here and ebay recently) [email protected]

Non functioning as is 'fried', or just not assembled?

Non-functioning as in built but doesn't talk to the player. I've done what trouble-shooting I can (checked the output of the tuner's regulators) but without a schematic its hard to go farther. The trouble must be something fairly basic because AFAIK all I would need for the player to see the tuner would be a functioning PIC.

I've soldered a lot of connections in my time and have inspected the boards and can't see any obvious mistakes.
