I've got a (full) tuner kit on order (#377) from Patrick Arnold (aka pca) and am trying to get the status of the order. I've sent a private message on the BBS and one to [email protected] and can't get a reply. Does anyone know of a better way to reach Patrick?

I didn't reply to your email because I DID reply to your PM. Have you checked recently?

I've checked every day. There may be a bug between the BBS software and Firefox because the "MyHome" screen shown no unread meaasges while looking in the inbox shows a number of unread messages. Also the blinking envelope did not appear until I actually went into the inbox.

I've had the same problem - I get very few PMs and I had a new one sitting there for three months before I noticed it by accident when I was looking for an old message.

I use either Safari or OmniWeb depending on which one is crashing more that day. I'm more inclined to think it's a bug in the BBS code than a browser glitch though.

What is interesting is that the entries under the "Unread" column were blank until I went into my pm inbox. Now it shows "0"

ISTR a problem back when the BBS was upgraded that people needed to go into their PMs once to get it to "reinitialize" notifications, for lack of a better term.

What I've seen, sing Firefox, PMs are sent, but a copy isn't kept in the sent box.

I get the new mail icon consistently, though.

Did you click 'I want to keep a copy of my message ' before you send it? Works every time for me.
