How about seeing who can get the largest number of (complete) RIPped CDs onto one base spec 4G system? (Anecdotal, of course )

We'd need a prize to shoot for, though - come on Rob, Hugo, any "suggestions"?

Hmmmm.... 2 possible approaches to that challenge are:

1) Use a lower bitrate when encoding so that each CD takes less room, but is of lower quality.

2) Only do CDs that either have few tracks or small tracks or both.

In the real world where people will put the CDs that they want to listen to onto their unit I reckon around 80 to 82 assuming 128k variable bit rate encoding using AudioCatalyst. Give me another week or so to get the last few dozen CDs encoded and I should be there.

Cheers,

Mark.
