It would be good to check their integrity once in a while. TIA Yes, just apply the libata passthru patch. I'm (still!) bugging Jeff to push it upstream sooner than later. But in the meanwhile, it's standard in the (K)Ubunutu Hoary/Breezy kernels, as well as those of most other distros. Cheers (hdparm author)
