does anyone know how to create a new address book for mozilla thunderbird?
it comes with 3 books:
personal.
collected.
outlook express.

I would like to add another, but can't figure out how to.
the thunderbird support page seems to be down, as does the faq.

You're not an idiot. Thunderbird is just designed very poorly. Not Outlook-poor, but ugly nonetheless. Unusable garbage the last time I tried it on a Mac.

File - New - Address Book seems pretty normal and logical to me.

Though I do admit Thunderbird could use some fine tuning like what Firefox 1.5 got.

They are working on Thunderbird 1.5. RC1 was released on 4 Nov. Don't know =how= much better it will be, but one can hope.

It seems to be an Internet truism that no matter how good a MUA is there are more than enough people who legitimately think it sucks.
