So here I am, where some of you have been before. And a bit nervous of course.
I quit my job just over a week ago and my last day is this Friday. Of course I got the usual "so, are you going to work for NVIDIA?" but no, I'm not going to work for anyone but my future customers. Leaving to work "for myself"
I've been at my current employer for a little over 9 years and my desire to work there was much less than my desire to not. But it's a big change and I have no idea if I'll succeed with the project I'm developing. If I didn't take the chance now however, it's unlikely I'd have as decent an opportunity in the future (or the relative freedom anyway).
Any generic words of advice?
