Just wondering if the free.fr ( http://www.free.fr ) is down or if there's just some problem on my end of the line. There are a ton of sites using subdomains on free.fr (and a Google search will bring some up).

Any luck? I also seem to get a generic-type error produced by Firefox when I try any pages on that domain. The same type I got elsewhere when a friend's computer was retrieving a normal Apache error message...

I still get a can't connect error. And a friend with the same cable ISP gets an apache config error of some kind.

Yup, I verified myself by using a free web proxy. Arrrrgh. I don't even know the support address for my ISP.

This seems to be the same problem ATI had for a couple of months where the http://www.textpad.com domain was completely unreachable. Turned out to be some routing configuration on one of ATI's servers.

What are the odds that the muppets working in the IT department at my ISP are going to jump on this in a timely manner?

At least, using the proxy, I've also been able to download a file I needed from one of the subdomains. I just have to go verify it hasn't been corrupted...
