Maybe this belongs in the Projects Forum, but I just bought a JamCam and was wondering how its protocol works for retrieving photos over serial. I guess I'd eventually like to snap images and load them into the Empeg for later retrieval, and maybe even send them out via Multi-drop serial attached to a modem. Anyway, first things first: Does anyone know of a way I can monitor the serial port while the camera client is downloading from the camera so I can rev. engineer it?

Yes, a great program called PORT MON will do the trick. I used it extensively during the development of my logo editor. Fantastic piece of software, does all the "right things".
