Wow, prices are dropping on these things. That's a $100 case, leaving the full empeg at $350. Well, maybe it was "new in box" units fetching the $400 that I expected to see. Maybe I'm just forgetting.

I'll never understand anyone who would buy a Pioneer/Alpine/Sony/bells-and-whistles MP3CD headunit instead of a $350 empeg. (but buying a headunit AND an empeg, I totally understand)

No, neither do I

I like the unit, I just find myself able to use it less and less (2 cars, Empeg in my Celica and have to drive sedan for my newly born son most of the time) and I feel like I'm wasting the unit, taking it out once every two weeks.

I'm also finding myself more and more wanting a portable MP3 player for when I'm out and about, so it makes sense to trade it in at this stage, I think.

That is, if I can find someone to buy it
