I think the two main offenders so far (for heat) is the thermal paste on the processor and reports of plastic over the ven at the very top of the keyboard and below the screen.

Other than that, I think if you take it in to the experts at your local store, they can take a look at it. I can't imagine that "too hot to touch" is an acceptable heat level for any laptop.
