I just got a used Honda Pilot (nice car, by the way) from a relative, and am trying to find a good installer in the Suburban Maryland/Washington DC area. I want to move a few components from my old car to this one as well as add one or two, and put some modest replacements back into the old car before I sell it.

Does anyone have any experience with shops in the area who will work with stuff they don't sell? Tweeter and Myer Emco seem reluctant to move stuff from one car to another, and I don't trust Best Buy or Circuit City. I don't mind paying a fair fee for good work.

thanks,

I'll be in Upper Marlboro Jan 1-6. We could have an install party and do it ourselves.

Now there's an interesting idea I hadn't considered. I'm all thumbs when it comes to stuff like this, though.

PM to follow.
